Weekend review:

Well a great start to the new season with two nutmegs and a volley in the opening weekend. Jose Bosingwa won the game for Chelsea 2-1, with a nutmeg shortly after Stephen Hunt’s opener for Hull. And Emile Heskey also won the game for Aston Villa 2-0 achieving a nutmeg whilst the game still deadlocked to send Wigan packing. 

We also had our first Volley of the season, albeit a scrappy one, from Mr. Wayne Rooney. His headed effort deflected off the post and back onto his foot to volley one home for the Reds and win the game 2-0 over Birmingham City. Nice One Wayne.

Even though there was only one volley at weekend there were several attempts coming from Leon Osman, Didier Drogba, George Boateng, John Terry, Glenn Whelan and Jamie O’Hara. Nice work boys, lets hope some go in for you before the season is done.
